Setting up the page

The first and most advisable thing to do is to initialize the page size and margins for our new template. This can be done in the screen "Page Setup" which can be reached via the Main Menu Print > and then Page Setup.

In this example the height of the page of our template will be 25cm and the width will be 20cm. We set the right, top and bottom margin to 2cm and because the page will be bound on the lefthand side we set the left margin to 4cm:
